About the Owner


Michael Kass is a father of four and is formally trained as a high school teacher. He learned woodworking from his father and was a carpenter's apprentice while working his way through college.

In college, Michael studied engineering for three years before graduating with honors with a degree in secondary education and history.

Michael has spent most of his work career as an experiential educator working with “at risk” teenagers helping to guide them away from the juvenile justice system by teaching them skills and values that will help them become productive members of our community.

His inspiration in starting Kass Construction LLC comes from a desire to help homeowners find creative and cost effective solutions to improving their homes.
